As I approach my 70th birthday I reflect on a life well-lived! I have been so fortunate to have all of you in my life and I celebrate my luck in life and my relationships.
I cherish my relationship with you and feel comfortable to ask you to join me in celebrating the success of a non-profit in Washington Heights and Inwood, FYI: Fresh Youth Initiatives! FYI is a well-run organization that makes dreams come alive for children and families who need a boost to achieve what so many of us have in our lives. I have always been committed to early education and to making lasting changes for families. I know first-hand through my recent work with them that FYI can accomplish positive change, and that they do it the right way!
I had committed to volunteering as an after-school tutor and then the COVID-19 pandemic hit! I am not sure when I will be able to resume tutoring and helping in any way that I am needed. I am sure, though, that more than anything, I would love to have you make a gift in honor of my special birthday.
So, in lieu of any other “presents” please give any amount of money to FYI and you will surely make my 70th birthday the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!
