Washington Heights was one of the NYC neighborhoods earliest and hardest hit by the pandemic. For many students, the loss of a full year of in-person learning may permanently affect their academic outcomes. Many families are still struggling as a result of lost work and housing instability.
My fellow board members and I are raising $100,000 for FYI’s educational and social service programs that support students and stabilize families.
